Fall’s Glory: An Evening to Remember

What an incredible night! The opening reception for Fall’s Glory at the Robb Center was everything I could have hoped for — and more. Nearly 100 guests came out to celebrate the beauty of autumn with me, filling the room with warmth, curiosity, and conversation.

“Each piece in Fall’s Glory invites viewers to experience the magic of New England’s autumn light and color.”

Walking into the space and seeing everyone surrounded by the vivid colors of the work felt magical. The exhibition captures New England’s autumn in all its glory — the fiery Maples, the golden Birches, the deep greens of Boxwoods — and it was wonderful to watch people pause in front of each piece, taking in the way light and color come together to create something that feels both fleeting and timeless.

“It was a joy to share the inspiration behind Fall’s Glory with so many friends, neighbors, and art lovers.”

“Vibraphonist Rich Greenblatt filled the space with shimmering music, perfectly complementing the art.”

And then there was the music. Vibraphonist Rich Greenblatt filled the room with shimmering, melodic energy that perfectly matched the spirit of the exhibition. His music seemed to dance with the colors on the walls, adding another layer to the experience. More than one guest told me they could feel the season in both the art and the sound.

The best part of the evening was seeing friends, neighbors, and art lovers sharing their own reflections — finding their favorite pieces, remembering their own autumn moments, and connecting with each other. Those conversations remind me why I do this work: to spark connection, reflection, and joy.

“Guests lingered, shared impressions, and connected with the rhythms of the season.”

If you weren’t able to join us, Fall’s Glory will remain on view at the Robb Center through October 31. I hope you’ll stop by, take a quiet moment with the work, and let yourself be immersed in the colors and rhythms of the season.

Thank you to everyone who came and helped make the opening night so special —
